Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Security Consultant with 12-16 years of relevant experience to join our cybersecurity consulting team. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on expertise in SIEM, XDR/EDR, compliance frameworks, and cloud security solutions. In addition to technical proficiency, the candidate should have demonstrable experience in responding to RFPs/RFIs, preparing client-facing presentations, and authoring technical proposals.

Key Responsibilities

Lead and execute security assessments, implementation, and advisory engagements across SIEM, EDR/XDR, cloud security, and compliance domains. Design and deploy security solutions based on client requirements and industry best practices. Work closely with clients to assess current security posture and develop strategies to improve maturity and mitigate risks. Customize and configure SIEM (e.g., Splunk, QRadar, Sentinel) and XDR/EDR tools (e.g., CrowdStrike, Microsoft Defender, Palo Alto Cortex XDR) to meet client-specific monitoring and detection needs. Provide subject matter expertise in cloud security (AWS, Azure, GCP), including identity, data protection, workload security, and compliance. Support compliance efforts and audits against frameworks such as ISO 27001, NIST, SOC 2, GDPR, and others. Participate in the development of RFI/RFP responses, including solution design, technical architecture, and level-of-effort estimation. Prepare and deliver high-impact presentations and proposal documents tailored to client needs and executive audiences. Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including sales, pre-sales, and delivery teams, to ensure successful project execution and client satisfaction. Mentor junior consultants and contribute to knowledge-sharing initiatives.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Information Security, Computer Science, or a related field. ?-16 years of relevant hands-on experience in cybersecurity consulting or a similar role. Deep understanding of and hands-on experience with SIEM platforms (e.g., Splunk, QRadar, Sentinel). Experience with EDR/XDR technologies (e.g., CrowdStrike, SentinelOne, Microsoft Defender, Cortex XDR). Strong knowledge of cloud security architecture and solutions across AWS, Azure, or GCP. Working experience with security compliance standards and audits (ISO 27001, NIST CSF, SOC 2, etc.). Demonstrated experience in preparing technical proposals, RFP/RFI responses, and client presentations. Strong analytical, documentation, and communication skills. Professional certifications preferred: CISSP, CISM, CCSP, Azure/AWS/GCP Security Certification, or equivalent.

Nice to Have

Experience with SOAR platforms and automation playbooks. Exposure to DevSecOps or secure SDLC methodologies. Experience with industry-specific compliance (e.g., HIPAA, PCI DSS, FedRAMP).
