CTG is seeking to fill a Security Consultant position for our client.
Location: Remote
Duration: 3 months
About the Role:
We're looking for a Security Consultant specializing in Infrastructure Security to help clients strengthen their Cloud and Hybrid IT environments. You will conduct assessments, analyze security incidents, and develop strategies to reduce risks and improve security posture. This role combines technical expertise with advisory skills to guide IT and business leaders on security best practices.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform Mainframe and infrastructure security assessments.
Conduct workshops, interviews, and evaluations to identify vulnerabilities and risks.
Analyze and resolve security incidents, providing actionable recommendations.
Develop security strategies, incident response plans, and remediation roadmaps.
Apply zero trust and secure infrastructure principles across hybrid cloud environments.
Advise on improving overall security posture and proactive risk management.
Required Skills & Expertise:
Strong Cloud & Infrastructure Security knowledge, including hybrid cloud.
Experience with mainframe security and enterprise IT environments.
Hands-on expertise in incident response, vulnerability assessments, and remediation.
Ability to communicate complex security concepts to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Knowledge of zero trust security principles.
Experience & Education:
Proven experience as a Security Consultant or similar role in infrastructure security.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or equivalent experience.
Certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or CISA preferred.
Excellent verbal and written English communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group are required.

The expected base salary for this position ranges from $90,000 to $98,000. Salary offers are based on a wide range of factors including relevant skills, training, experience, education, market factors, and where applicable, licensure or certifications obtained. In addition to salary, a competitive benefit package is also offered. About Us:
