: Security Business Partner- Airbus India


Job Holder

: Position to be filled.


Responsibilities



Evaluates the business security constraints and needs in the environment and proposes security capabilities based on compliance requirements, identified security risks and security maturity levels.

Support and operate in a modern and agile security organization which is able to evolve with the business security needs.

The Security Business Partner shall support business and various functions to understand the security requirements applicable to respective projects, ensuring the appropriate controls are integrated to keep residual security risks under control.

Security Business Partner shall guide through various projects to protect Airbus Business activities, People, Assets and Information, To support Compliance, with Security Regulations & Standards to anticipate and prepare Security & Privacy by Design

The job directly contributes to the Airbus India strategy regarding security of all Airbus assets ( Information Management; People and workplace; Industrial; Product and Services).

The jobholder builds and manages relationships at operational level with all business functions (IM, Procurement, Quality, Finance, Engineering, Customer Services, ...)

within

Airbus India Private Limited covering Airbus'3 divisions.

The job requires management of Airbus classified (Confidential and Secret) information


Main activities



The jobholder

:



Partners with the business functions in effectively addressing security and supporting the business strategy.



Develops a security plan (acc. to security objectives) for the operations in Airbus India sites and provides visibility of business security maturity level, security risks and security needs.



Facilitates the security risk management including definition of adequate risk response.



Continuously evaluates the adequacy and balance of controls and safeguards relative to the evolving security risks to ensure their efficiency and sustainability.



Supports management of security events (e.g. vulnerabilities, incidents).



Leads security activities for new projects in business functions ("business projects") for each milestone in the project (link with BPRO methodology).



Contributes to the Security Audits and supports the business in closure of the actions, translates identified vulnerabilities and non-conformities into risks.



Promote and communicate about the security organization, campaigns and awareness among employees via physical and electronic media



Coordinates extension and assessment of security capabilities delivered by Corporate Security organisation (solutions, services, competences and staffing) and ensures alignment to current business needs and adapted to r Airbus India local constraints.



Animates an open and transparent exchange between the business functions concerning security constraints, needs and associated solutions for systems to identify synergies, economies of scale and exchange on experiences.



Supports the deployment of the Airbus Security Policy and directives in a planned, efficient and effective manner.



Supports Airbus Head Of Security and CISO in the strategic planning of security activities (suppliers selection, priorities, benchmarking with other affiliates and external companies...)



Supports the integration of security activities in all relevant business processes (e.g. development processes, improvement processes, operational processes).



Supports the definition of the professional development of security staff



Identifies generic career paths for security professionals and associated development plans



Promotes the cross-fertilization of security skills and competences



Follows the development of commercial security solutions and identifies opportunities for the development of innovative security solutions



Follows standardization activities for the security management of systems



Liaises with external companies to exchange on lessons learned and return on experiences in the security environment.



Defines, collected and report on the Security KPIS



Prepare reports on security



Supports in preparation of Steering Committee,Regional and CISOs Network



Scan the external environment of the upcoming risks



Keeps a track of the evolution of local laws and regulations impacting security of Airbus assets.

Required competencies:

Advanced level in English is a must, and knowledge of other languages is much


appreciated.

Education:



Required



Bachelors or Master Degree degree in Electrical, Computer Engineering or Computer Science Experience or equivalent.



10+ years experience in Information Systems security



5+ years in Project Management



2+ years in Security Risk Management Preferred



Knowledge of Physical Security mechanisms



Preferred



ISO-27001, ISO-27005, ISO-31000, CISSP, CISA, CISM, NIST SP-800, ISA/IEC 62443.



Communication Skills:



Required



Excellent interpersonal skills, including an ability to use tact and diplomacy to achieve objectives and to convince a diverse audience (non-technical, extremely technical, or C-suites).



Team player, customer focused, proactive, and self-organized, with the ability to work in a complex global environment, and with a capacity to coordinate stakeholders from different locations and organizations.



Advanced fluency level in the English language is required. Written/verbal communication and presentation skills are supportive and desirable assets.

Capacity to Influence stakeholders to ensure efficiency of projects



Complexity of the Role:



Level of Decision Making: The position requires a significant level of autonomy. The jobholder will interact with staff in very diverse functions : Engineering, Digital, Customer Services, HR, Procurement, Finance, Physical security, and facility management



Organizational information:



The jobholder directly influences the resilience of Airbus India and its affiliates against security threats, and contributes to maintaining the industrial objectives of the Airbus Divisions in the Region.



Nature of Contacts:



Project planning with all levels of leadership in Airbus, and all controlled affiliates in India and South Asia



Reporting and problem solving with local business managers.



Hands-on support and awareness to Security teams



Physical Requirements:



Onsite or remote: 60% ONSITE minimum.



Vision: Daily. able to see and read computer screen and other electronic equipment with screens, able to read documents, reports and engineering drawings.



Hearing: Daily able to hear and participate in conversations in person and via teleconference or phone and to hear sounds on the production floor including safety warnings or alarms.



Speaking: Daily. able to speak in conversations and meetings, deliver information and participate in communications.



Equipment Operation (personal computer, telephone, copies, fax machine, and related office equipment and using electronic identification card to enter building floors and internal doors):Daily. able to operate most office and personal electronic equipment and some tools including production tools such as hydraulic lifts.



Carrying: occasionally able to carry documents, tools, drawings, electronic equipment up to 14kgs.



Lifting: occasionally able to lift documents, tools, drawings, electronic equipment up to 14kgs.



Pushing / Pulling: occasionally able to push and pull small office furniture and some equipment and tools.



Sitting: Daily able to sit for long periods of time in meetings, working on the computer.



Squatting / Kneeling: occasionally able to squat or kneel to retrieve or replace items stored on low shelving.



Standing: Daily able to stand for discussions in offices or on the production floor.



Travel: able to travel independently and at short notice for 20% of the working time.



Walking (include routine walking such as to a shared printer to retrieve documents): daily able to walk through office and production areas including uneven surfaces.



Personal Protective Equipment required: Required PPE includes, but is not limited to, Safety Shoes, Safety Glasses, Hearing Protection, Respirators/Masks, and/or Protective Gloves as required by site and/or customer site



Administrative position only PPE required: Steel-toed shoes are required for all shop floor visit, appropriate hearing/eye protection may also be required when visiting the shop floor.
