Roles & Responsibilities:



A Security Business Development & Security Operations Head integrates business growth with the management of daily security operations, including developing and implementing security strategies, overseeing risk assessments, managing security budgets and personnel, and responding to incidents. This hybrid role focuses on leveraging security as a strategic business advantage, requiring expertise in both strategic business development to identify new security markets or services and operational excellence to ensure effective protection of assets and personnel.

Key Responsibilities for Security Business Development:

Strategic Vision:


Develop and implement long-term strategic plans for security services or solutions that align with business goals.

Market Growth:


Identify new business opportunities, partnerships, and markets for security products and services.

Client Relationships:


Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and stakeholders, understanding their security needs and providing solutions.

Sales & Proposals:


Contribute to the development of proposals and presentations to secure new business.

Market Intelligence:


Stay informed about market trends, competitor activities, and emerging technologies to identify opportunities and threats.

Key Responsibilities for Security Operations:

Policy & Procedure:


Develop, implement, and manage comprehensive security policies, protocols, and procedures.

Risk Management:


Conduct regular risk assessments, vulnerability scans, and audits to identify and mitigate potential threats.

Incident Response:


Oversee the detection, investigation, and resolution of security incidents and breaches.

Team Leadership:


Recruit, train, mentor, and manage security personnel, including scheduling and performance management.

System Management:


Oversee the implementation, maintenance, and monitoring of security technologies and systems, such as access control, CCTV, and firewalls.

Budget Management:


Control and manage budgets for security operations, ensuring efficient allocation of resources.

Compliance:


Ensure the organization's adherence to all relevant security-related laws, regulations, and standards.

Reporting:


Prepare and present reports to Advisor/senior management on the organization's security posture, incidents, and operational status ,P&L of the Security Business.
