Summary: As a Security Engineer, you will apply your security skills to design, build, and protect enterprise systems, applications, data, assets, and people. A typical day involves collaborating with various teams to implement security measures, conducting assessments to identify vulnerabilities, and ensuring that all systems are fortified against potential cyber threats. You will engage in proactive monitoring and response activities, contributing to the overall security posture of the organization while staying updated on the latest security trends and technologies. Roles & Responsibilities: o Work as part of the analysis team that works 24x7 on a rotational shift o Perform security monitoring by analyzing logs, traffic and alerts generated by variety of device technologies o Timely response to customer requests like detection capabilities, tuning, etc. o Research new threats and provide recommendations to enhance detection capabilities o Strong desire for continuous learning on vulnerabilities, attacks and countermeasures o Identify opportunities for process improvement o Researching, understanding, and developing responses to cyber threats o Writing, editing, and publishing technical reports o Developing and deploying network and endpoint detections to support a Security Operations Center analysis team o Performing data analysis to optimize SOC procedures o Coordinating analysis teams to best educate on and respond to developments in the Threat Landscape Professional & Technical Skills: o Experience in SOC operations with customer-facing responsibilities o Deep understanding on cyber security fundamentals, security devices, network defense concepts and threat landscape o Hands-on experience in SIEM and threat hunting tools o Added advantage in working with any SOAR platform o Desirable knowledge in any scripting language and EDR products o Preferable - GCIA, GCFA, CISSP o Strong customer service and interpersonal skills o Strong problem-solving skills o Ability to communicate clearly at all levels, demonstrating strong verbal and written communication skills. o Adaptability to accept change Additional Information: - The candidate should have minimum 3 years of experience in Accenture MxDR Ops Security Threat Analysis. - This position is based at our Chennai office. - Minimum a bachelor's or a master's degree in addition to regular 15- year full-time education is required.
