Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and specialized Checkpoint Firewall Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess advanced expertise in Checkpoint firewall technologies and will be responsible for Configuring, implementing, optimizing, and maintaining robust firewall solutions to safeguard our network infrastructure. This role requires a deep understanding of network security, advanced troubleshooting skills, and the ability to handle complex security challenges. Roles & Responsibilities: -Configuration of advanced Checkpoint firewall solutions to meet organizational security and compliance requirements. -Perform in-depth analysis and optimization of firewall rules, policies, and configurations to enhance security and performance. -Proactively monitor and manage Checkpoint firewall systems, ensuring high availability and minimal downtime. -Conduct advanced troubleshooting and root cause analysis for complex firewall-related issues. -Collaborate with security, network, and IT teams to implement and enforce security policies and best practices. -Lead firewall audits and compliance checks to ensure adherence to industry standards. -Provide expert-level guidance and mentorship to junior team members on Checkpoint technologies and security practices. -Stay updated on emerging security threats, trends, and Checkpoint product advancements to recommend and implement proactive measures. -Document advanced configurations, processes, and incident resolutions for knowledge sharing and future reference. Professional & Technical Skills: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience). Extensive hands-on experience with Checkpoint firewall technologies, including SmartConsole, Security Gateway, Management Server, and Threat Prevention. Advanced knowledge of network protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, BGP, etc.) and security principles. Expertise in VPN technologies, NAT, and advanced firewall rule management. Proven ability to handle complex troubleshooting and resolve critical security incidents. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills. -Strong communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders. -Checkpoint Certified Security Administrator (CCSA) or Checkpoint Certified Security Expert (CCSE) or Checkpoint Certified Master (CCSM) certifications are preferred -The candidate should have experience in Checkpoint Next Generation Firewall. Additional Information: - The candidate should have minimum 2 years of experience in Checkpoint Next Generation Firewall. - This position is based at our Bengaluru office. - A 15 years full time education is required.
