Summary: As a Security Advisor, you will provide enterprise-level advice to make organizations cyber resilient. Your typical day will involve engaging with various stakeholders to assess their cybersecurity posture, identifying potential vulnerabilities, and recommending strategies to enhance their defenses against cyber threats. You will also collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure that digital assets are protected while fostering trust and transparency within the organization. Your role will require you to stay updated on the latest cybersecurity trends and threats, enabling you to offer informed guidance and support to your clients. Roles & Responsibilities: Good understanding of Firewall enterprise architecture. Hands on 6+yrs experience in Pal Alto or Zscaler administration and troubleshooting. Knowledge of firemon will be a plus. 1. Networking Fundamentals: - Deep understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPNs, and routing protocols. - Knowledge of network topologies and architectures. 2. Security Knowledge - Palo Alto Firewall - Working experience with firewalls, proxies, IDS/IPS, and other security technologies. Zscaler-Specific Skills 1. Zscaler Private Access (ZPA): - Configuration and management of ZPA components. - Knowledge of ZPA architecture and components (e.g., App Connectors, Service Edges, and Client Connectors). - Experience with policy creation and management within ZPA. - Troubleshooting ZPA-related issues and log analysis. 2. Zscaler Internet Access (ZIA): - Configuration and management of ZIA components. - Knowledge of ZIA architecture and components (e.g., Web Security, Cloud Firewall, Data Loss Prevention, Cloud Sandbox). - Experience with policy creation and management within ZIA. - Troubleshooting ZIA-related issues and log analysis. Professional & Technical Skills: - Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Network Security Operations. - Good To Have Skills: Experience with firewall management and intrusion detection systems. - Strong understanding of risk assessment methodologies and frameworks. - Familiarity with incident response processes and best practices. - Knowledge of compliance standards such as ISO 27001 and NIST. Additional Information: - The candidate should have minimum 3 years of experience in Network Security Operations. - This position is based at our Bengaluru office. - A 15 years full time education is required.
