Summary: As a Security Advisor, you will provide enterprise-level advice to make organizations cyber resilient. Your typical day will involve engaging with various stakeholders to assess their security posture, identifying potential vulnerabilities, and recommending strategies to enhance their defenses against cyber threats. You will also collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure that digital assets are protected while fostering trust and transparency in security practices. Roles & Responsibilities: - We are seeking an experienced Senior Active Directory Engineer/Architect to lead the design, administration, and support of our on-premises Microsoft Active Directory environment. This role will be responsible for ensuring the stability, security, scalability, and overall health of the AD infrastructure, while also working with stakeholders to modernize directory services and integrate with hybrid identity solutions as needed - Evaluate and implement Group Policy Objects (GPOs) to enforce security and configuration baselines - Design and document AD schema extensions, trusts, and multi-forest/multi-domain strategies - Plan and execute domain migrations, consolidations, and upgrades - Troubleshoot and resolve complex Active Directory issues (replication, authentication, Kerberos, GPOs, trust relationships, etc.) - Integrate on-prem AD with Azure AD and hybrid identity environments - Support authentication integrations (LDAP, Kerberos, RADIUS, SAML) with applications - Collaborate with networking, security, and application teams to support business projects - Design and maintain AD backup and recovery processes - Identify opportunities to automate repetitive AD tasks through scripting (PowerShell, etc.) - Recommend and lead improvements to AD security and operational maturity - Stay current with emerging Microsoft directory technologies and best practices Professional & Technical Skills: - Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Identity and Access Management (IAM) Operations. - Good To Have Skills: Experience with Microsoft Azure Active Directory. - Strong understanding of security frameworks and compliance standards. - Experience in risk assessment and management. - Familiarity with incident response and recovery processes.
