Summary: The Senior Analyst will be responsible for the administration, optimization, and operational support of QRadar, Splunk, and Hadoop platforms. The role focuses on ensuring platform stability, data integrity, and performance for security monitoring, threat detection, and compliance reporting. Roles & Responsibilities: QRadar SIEM o Manage QRadar infrastructure including event collectors, flow processors, and console o Onboard and normalize log sources, tune correlation rules and offenses o Perform health checks, upgrades, and patching o Support incident response and forensic investigations using QRadar data Splunk o Administer Splunk Enterprise and/or Splunk Cloud environments o Develop and maintain dashboards, alerts, and reports for security and IT operations o Optimize data ingestion, parsing, indexing, and search performance o Implement role-based access controls and app integrations Hadoop Platform o Administer Hadoop clusters (HDFS, YARN, Hive, Spark) for big data analytics o Monitor cluster health, resource utilization, and job performance o Ensure secure and scalable data ingestion pipelines o Collaborate with data engineering and analytics teams for platform enhancements Professional & Technical Skills: o 5-10 years of experience in cybersecurity, SIEM, or big data platform management o Strong hands-on experience with QRadar, Splunk, and Hadoop ecosystem o Proficiency in log management, data parsing, and threat detection o Experience with Linux administration, networking, and performance tuning o Scripting skills (Python, Bash, Shell) for automation and troubleshooting o Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field o Preferred certifications: o IBM QRadar Certified Deployment Professional o Splunk Certified Power User / Admin Additional Information: o Experience with cloud-native SIEM and big data platforms (Azure Sentinel, AWS EMR, GCP BigQuery) o Exposure to SOAR platforms and threat intelligence integrations o Knowledge of compliance frameworks (ISO 27001, NIST, GDPR)
