Summary: As a Palo Alto Engineer is responsible for designing, deploying, managing, and troubleshooting Palo Alto Networks security solutions including Next-Gen Firewalls (NGFW), Panorama, GlobalProtect, and VPNs. The role demands deep technical expertise, client-facing communication, and project leadership. Roles & Responsibilities: - Deployment & Configuration: Install and configure Palo Alto firewalls (PA-Series, VM-Series), Panorama, and Prisma Access. - Security Management: Manage firewall policies, threat prevention, URL filtering, and VPN configurations. - Troubleshooting: Resolve complex network and security issues, ensuring minimal downtime. - Monitoring & Analysis: Use Panorama and other tools to monitor traffic, generate reports, and identify vulnerabilities. - Cloud Integration: Deploy Palo Alto solutions in AWS, Azure, or GCP environments. - Documentation: Maintain detailed records of configurations, policies, and procedures. - Collaboration: Work with architects, analysts, and IT teams to align security solutions with business goals. - Training & Support: Provide guidance to junior engineers and support teams. Professional & Technical Skills: - PCNSE (Palo Alto Certified Network Security Engineer) - CCNP or equivalent - Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, VPN, MPLS, VRF, and network routing - Experience with SIEM, EDR, and firewall management tools - Familiarity with change management, automation, and revision control Additional Information: - The candidate should have minimum 3 years of experience in Palo Alto Networks Firewalls. - This position is based at our Bengaluru office. - A 15 years full time education is required.
