We have a critical opening with our client for Security Analyst role for Bangalore location.

Experience : 3 to 5 yrs

Location: Bangalore (WFO)

Job description

• Continuously monitor, assess, and respond to threats on organizational assets.
• Ensuring appropriate treatment of cybersecurity risk and monitoring compliance to Moog\xe2\x80\x99s Information Security policies, processes, and procedures.
• Participates in Security Event and Incident Response for systems and services supported.
• Security Assessment Authorization and Access process.
• Deploy (under guidance), monitor and maintain all security systems and their corresponding or associated software, including firewalls, intrusion detection systems, cryptography systems, and anti-virus software.
• Administer and maintain user accounts, permissions, and access rights.
• Monitor, and report on security system and end user activity audits.
• Monitor server logs and alerts, firewall logs, intrusion detection logs, and network traffic for unusual or suspicious activity. Interpret activity and make recommendations for resolution.
• Recommend, schedule (where appropriate), and apply fixes, security patches, disaster recovery procedures, and any other measures required in the event of a security breach.
• Download and test new security software and/or technologies.
• The successful Global IT Security Analyst will become proficient with the Security Technology Stack in use at Moog and will be required to undertake periodic training and certification with these technologies in order to demonstrate their level of proficiency.
• Ability to assess social engineering risks related to electronic communications.
• Ability to manage and leverage security tools to reduce organizational risk.
• Stay current on relevant cyber threat trends, Tactics, Techniques, and Procedures (TTPs), and advancements in technology.
• Addressing information security questions and inquiries from business users, customers, and third parties.

For all levels of Global IT Security Analyst, the following items are required:

• Experience in enterprise security architecture design and document creation
• Experience in two or more of the following security systems:

• Beyond Trust
• Palo Alto
• Proofpoint
• LogRhythm
• Cybereason

• Working technical knowledge of:

• End Point Protection
• SIEM \xe2\x80\x93 Log Analysis
• Firewalls
• Phishing Awareness Training
• Penetration Testing
• Email Security
• Endpoint Encryption
• Identity and Access Management
• Vulnerability Management
• Operating System Hardening
• Strong understanding of IP, TCP/IP, and other network administration protocols
• Familiarity with Active Directory, Linux, OSX, iOS, VMware
• Familiarity with SQL, IIS, Apache
