The Investment Information Services (IIS) forms part of the Global Funds Services group. Our mission is to support our clients - investment process by providing market leading services across the investment risk, return, analytics and post-trade investment compliance spectrum via an integrated data and information delivery strategy. As a member of the Securities Services organization, you\xe2\x80\x99ll be exposed to a wide gamut of financial products, including Equities, Fixed Income securities and Complex Assets. As an Associate within the Investment Information Services team, you will be responsible for interpreting guidelines and build logic based rules for automated compliance testing and monitoring by working closely with internal Technology and Operations and Client Relationship teams to shape the solution on the best strategy to bring the product to market. You\xe2\x80\x99ll also have the opportunity to partner with clients, forging key relationships that will help us bring industry participants together Job responsibilities:
  • Interpreting guidelines and build logic-based rules for automated compliance testing and monitoring
  • Coding and monitoring investment guidelines into the compliance system to ensure investment compliance
  • Preparing for account on-boarding by requesting set up of accounts in various systems
  • Reviewing new and existing rules to ensure compliance with account mandates
  • Consulting and partnering with the multi-functional groups in the implementation of projects that promote the consistent application of investment-specific data across the enterprise
  • Ensuring timely and accurate completion of assigned workload
  • Working on projects with strict deadlines, including the migration of accounts from one compliance system to another
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills:
  • Minimum of 6 years\' of Banking, Financial Services, or Product Development/Product Management experience. Securities Services experience and background will be preferred.
  • Experience with guideline coding in compliance systems e.g. Charles River, Sentinel, Aladdin.
  • Experience in Regulatory fund compliance (UCITS / SEC 1940 Act / IRS), Derivative Exposure Reporting.
  • Knowledge of pension fund, fund manager, insurance and hedge fund clients with strong analytical and problem solving skills .
  • Experience in Investment compliance / performance measurement / risk management preferred.
  • Ability to own project outcomes by exhibiting leadership and influence across multiple business and functional groups.
Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills:
  • Experience in Securities Services or buy-side experience at an asset manager/investment manager or asset owner.
Client-facing experience is an asset but not a requirement.
  • Experience with Order Management Systems, such as Bloomberg AIM, BlackRock Aladdin, , LZ Sentinel Charles River.
  • MBA, CA, CS, CPA, FRM
