A Sector Manager - Loan Sales for Personal Loans (PL), Business Loans (BL), Home Loans (HL), and Loan Against Property (LAP) oversees and drives sales initiatives for these loan products within a specific sector or geography. This role includes managing a sales team, developing sales strategies, and ensuring achievement of business targets across the loan portfolio.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and implement effective sales strategies for PL, BL, HL, and LAP products within the assigned sector.
Lead, mentor, and manage the sales team to ensure high performance and achievement of sales targets.
Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, channel partners, DSAs, and brokers.
Analyze sales data and market trends to identify growth opportunities and areas of improvement.
Collaborate with marketing, credit, operations, and legal teams for smooth loan processing and disbursal.
Monitor compliance with company policies and regulatory guidelines in loan sales processes.
Prepare and present sales reports, forecasts, and performance insights to senior management.
Conduct training and development programs for the sales team to enhance skills and product knowledge.
Identify new market opportunities and develop plans to capture those segments.
Required Qualifications and Skills
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, or a related field.
Proven experience in loan sales management, preferably across multiple loan products.
Strong leadership, team management, and interpersonal skills.
In-depth understanding of loan products (PL, BL, HL, LAP) and their sales cycles.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and analytical abilities.
Ability to handle sales targets in a competitive environment and adapt strategies accordingly.
Additional Details
Experience working with DSA/DST channels and managing field sales teams is often preferred.
Role demands hands-on approach in customer acquisition, relationship management, and end-to-end loan process coordination.
Compensation usually includes fixed salary plus performance-based incentives.
