The Section Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of a specific department or section within a retail store. The role includes managing the team, achieving sales targets, ensuring merchandise display standards, and delivering exceptional customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
Supervise and manage the assigned section to achieve sales and profitability goals.
Monitor and maintain stock levels, inventory accuracy, and product availability.
Ensure proper product display, signage, and shelf hygiene as per visual merchandising standards.
Guide and motivate section staff to deliver excellent customer service.
Track and analyse sales trends; provide inputs for promotions and stock planning.
Train and develop team members to ensure product knowledge and customer handling skills.
Handle customer queries and resolve issues effectively.
Coordinate with warehouse and procurement teams for stock replenishment.
Ensure compliance with store policies, safety, and hygiene standards.
