Job Summary:
We are looking for a skilled and versatile
Multi-Cuisine Chef
with hands-on experience in Indian, South Indian, Chinese, and Tandoori cuisine. The ideal candidate should be passionate about food, well-organized, and able to manage multiple sections efficiently. This is a key culinary role responsible for maintaining quality, consistency, and presentation across diverse cuisine offerings.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and cook a variety of dishes across Indian, South Indian, Chinese, and Tandoori sections.
Ensure food quality, taste, and presentation are maintained as per hotel standards.
Oversee mise-en-place, daily preparation, and timely execution of food orders.
Manage food inventory and maintain kitchen hygiene and sanitation standards.
Train and guide junior kitchen staff and support team as needed.
Coordinate with kitchen supervisors and service staff to ensure smooth operations.
Maintain portion control and assist with food cost management.
Innovate and contribute to new dish ideas and menu development.
Requirements:
Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar role in the hotel or restaurant industry.
Proven expertise in Indian, South Indian, Chinese, and Tandoori cooking.
Ability to manage multiple cuisine sections simultaneously.
Knowledge of food safety, hygiene, and HACCP standards.
Strong time management and organizational skills.
