Role Overview

The Security Guard cum Safety Supervisor is responsible for maintaining security, discipline, and safety across the premises of

Ferromonk Steel Structures Pvt. Ltd.

, ensuring safe operations, controlled entry/exit, and compliance with company safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

1. Security Duties

Control and monitor entry and exit of employees, visitors, vehicles, and material. Maintain gate registers, visitor logs, and material in/out records. Conduct routine patrolling to safeguard company assets, equipment, and materials. Prevent unauthorized access, theft, damage, and unsafe activities. Report any suspicious incidents or security concerns immediately to management.

2. Safety Supervision

Ensure all workers follow safety rules and PPE usage across the premises. Monitor lifting operations, welding, cutting, height work, and other high-risk activities. Conduct basic safety briefings and guide workers on safe work practices. Inspect fire extinguishers, emergency exits, and general housekeeping daily. Assist in enforcing safety policies as per company guidelines.

3. Documentation & Reporting

Maintain daily security logs, safety checklists, and incident/accident reports. Record and report unsafe acts, unsafe conditions, or near-miss incidents. Support emergency response actions during accidents, fire, or evacuation.

4. Coordination & Discipline

Coordinate with supervisors, site engineers, and the safety team for smooth workflow. Maintain discipline among workers at gate entry, material area, and site zone. Assist during heavy material unloading, shift changes, and crowd control situations.

Skills & Requirements

Minimum 12th pass or equivalent qualification. 2-5 years of experience in security and safety roles in industrial or construction environments. Strong understanding of basic safety rules, PPE requirements, and emergency procedures. Physically fit, alert, disciplined, and responsible. Good communication and record-keeping ability.
