Role Summary



The Secretary to the Chancellor acts as the

strategic and administrative partner

to the Chancellor, managing day-to-day operations, communications, and confidential matters within the Office of the Chancellor. The role requires exceptional professionalism, discretion, coordination, and emotional intelligence to liaise between academic leadership, trustees, government bodies, and international collaborators.

KRA: Task / Activities



Administrative & Executive Support



Manage calendar, travel, documentation, and confidential communication for the Chancellor.

Stakeholder Liaison



Coordinate with Trustees, Vice-Chancellor, Registrar, and Academic Heads for smooth governance and information flow.

Documentation & Compliance



Prepare agendas, minutes, briefings, reports, and maintain official correspondence and records.

Strategic Coordination



Support the Chancellor on strategic projects, partnerships, and institutional initiatives; follow up on key deliverables.

Events & Protocol



Organize high-level meetings, convocations, ceremonies, and represent the Chancellor's office at formal functions.

Confidentiality & Ethics



Handle all information with utmost discretion and institutional decorum.
