The Secretary to the Managing Director provides high-level administrative and organizational support to ensure the efficient operation of the MD's office. This role demands excellent communication skills, a high degree of professionalism, and the ability to manage confidential information with discretion. Fluency in English, both written and spoken, is essential.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage the MD's calendar, appointments, and meeting schedules efficiently
Draft, review, and manage emails, correspondence, and official documents with perfect command of English
Prepare accurate reports, presentations, and meeting materials
Coordinate domestic and international travel, including visas, accommodations, and detailed itineraries
Organize and support internal and external meetings, taking minutes and ensuring timely follow-ups
Handle sensitive information and maintain confidentiality at all times
Liaise professionally with internal departments, clients, and external stakeholders
Monitor and follow up on key action items and deadlines on behalf of the MD
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in any discipline; secretarial or administrative training preferred
3-5 years of experience in a similar executive support role
Excellent command of English (spoken and written) is mandatory
Strong organizational, time management, and multitasking skills
High level of integrity, discretion, and professionalism
Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and digital calendar/email tools
