About the Role:

The role will entail researching and pulling out relevant information from various publicly available sources like company website, company press releases, annual reports, various government regulatory filings, and various paid databases like Factiva, Nexis, etc.

The primary responsibilities of the researcher would be to:

- Review news, web and regulatory filings to create an accurate view of an event and quickly extract and enter relevant information in a web-based tool
- Quickly scan multiple documents for additional information and be able to compare against other sources and an internal database
- Complete data collection tasks within a specific dataset and process area such as PE, VC, M&A, People, Service Provider, Investor, Limited Partner, Funds and News.
- Understand and learn financial concepts and figures

Required Candidates' Skill Sets:

1.

Strong communication skills in English.

Should have excellent hold over English communication skills both written and verbal.

2. Should have strong hold over domain knowledge related to Private Equity, Debt, Venture Capital, Mergers and Acquisitions etc.

3. Should be comfortable to handle allocated tasks and deliver research tasks allocated within stringent TAT

PS- This is not an analyst job role, it is for a secondary research associate as per the JD
