Secondary Economics Teacher

About the Role

We are seeking a qualified and passionate

Secondary Economics Teacher

to teach Economics at the secondary level. The ideal candidate will have strong subject knowledge, excellent classroom management skills, and a commitment to fostering student learning and growth.

Key Responsibilities

Plan and deliver engaging and effective Economics lessons for secondary school students Prepare lesson plans, teaching materials, and assessments in line with curriculum requirements Evaluate and monitor students' progress and provide constructive feedback Prepare students for internal and board examinations Incorporate innovative teaching methodologies to enhance learning outcomes Maintain discipline, order, and a positive learning environment in the classroom Collaborate with other faculty members for co-curricular and inter-disciplinary activities Participate in parent-teacher meetings, workshops, and school events as required

Required Qualifications & Skills

Graduate / Postgraduate in Economics with B.Ed. specialization in Economics or related subject Minimum 2 years of relevant teaching experience at the secondary level Strong command over subject knowledge and communication skills Proficiency in lesson planning, assessment design, and use of teaching aids Ability to motivate and mentor students

Preferred / Desirable

Prior experience teaching in an

ICSE / ISC

curriculum environment will be an added advantage Familiarity with modern pedagogical techniques and classroom technology
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: Up to ₹42,000.00 per month
