Key Responsibilities:
Operate and monitor low- to medium-pressure boilers and auxiliary equipment such as feed pumps, air compressors, fuel systems, and water treatment systems.
Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on boilers, burners, valves, controls, and other equipment.
Record operational data such as pressure, temperature, fuel consumption, and water levels in logs or computer systems.
Identify and troubleshoot boiler malfunctions or irregularities.
Ensure compliance with environmental and safety regulations (e.g., emissions standards, boiler codes).
Maintain cleanliness and orderliness in the boiler room or plant area.
Respond to emergency shutdowns or alarms and take appropriate corrective actions.
Assist with installation, testing, and commissioning of new boiler equipment as needed.
Working Conditions:
Shift work may be required (day/night/weekend).
Work environment includes exposure to heat, noise, and mechanical equipment.
May require lifting heavy tools or materials and climbing ladders or platforms.
