JD for Seasoning Operator:
1. Seasoning Operation
Start, operate, and shut down the Fryer and Seasoning operation as per SOP.
Monitor critical parameters such as temperature, pressure, feed rate, moisture and product expansion.
Adjust settings to achieve required product size, texture, and quality.
Manage raw material feeding, seasoning and oil application (if applicable).
2. Quality Control
Conduct regular product checks for texture, moisture, shape, and color.
Record data in production and quality sheets.
Coordinate with QC for corrective actions if deviations occur.
3. Machine Maintenance
Perform routine cleaning of machines.
Report machine abnormalities, breakdowns, and part wear to the maintenance team.
Assist in preventive maintenance and changeover of dies.
4. Safety & Hygiene
Follow all safety protocols, PPE requirements, and lockout-tagout procedures.
Maintain hygiene around the extruder area as per FSSAI/food safety guidelines.
Ensure no contamination or spillage during production.
5. Documentation
Maintain production logs, downtime records, and parameter readings.
Fill shift handover reports accurately.
6. Coordination
Work closely with packaging, seasoning, quality, and maintenance teams.
Support supervisors in production planning and changeovers.
Skills & Competencies Required
Knowledge of seasoning process (corn puffs, pellets, ring, fryums, etc.).
Ability to understand machine parameters and troubleshoot minor issues.
Basic mechanical understanding.
Ability to handle pressure in fast-paced production environments.
Good communication and teamwork skills.
Qualifications
Minimum 10th / 12th pass; ITI preferred.
1-3 years of experience as an extruder operator in snacks/food processing industry.
Work Conditions
12 Hour Shift-based Day & Night working.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
