About the Role
We are looking for a
Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET)
who possesses strong
manual testing skills
along with hands-on experience in
Playwright automation using TypeScript or JavaScript
. The ideal candidate is passionate about ensuring product quality, designing robust test frameworks, and contributing to continuous improvement of the QA process.
Key Responsibilities
Perform
manual testing
to validate new features, regression and exploratory scenarios.
Create and maintain
test cases, test data and test documentation
.
Design, build and maintain scalable automation frameworks using Playwright with TypeScript.
Write, execute, and maintain automated test scripts for web applications.
Collaborate with developers, product owners, and QA team members in an Agile/Scrum environment.
Perform end-to-end, regression, smoke, and functional testing.
Integrate automation tests into CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or similar).
Debug test failures, analyze root causes, and work with the development team to resolve issues.
Ensure test coverage for critical business workflows.
Document test cases, execution results, and provide reports for stakeholders.
Required Skills & Qualifications
2-4 years of experience in Manual testing and Test Automation.
Strong hands-on experience with Playwright for web automation.
Proficiency in TypeScript/JavaScript.
Solid understanding of QA methodologies, SDLC, and STLC.
Experience integrating automation into CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, etc.).
Good knowledge of version control systems (Git).
Strong debugging and analytical skills.
