The Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) Engineer will be a part of a global team creating new solutions as well as improving existing solutions for Koch Industries. Koch Technology Center (KTC) is being developed in India to extend its IT operations, as well as act as a hub for innovation in the IT function. This role will have the opportunity to join on the ground floor and will play a critical part in helping build out the Koch Technology Center (KTC) over the next several years. Working closely with global colleagues would provide significant global exposure to the employees.

This role will be primarily focused on testing and performance regular maintenance on applications written in C/C++/Java/Bash/Python/Perl based on Payment Communications in a Linux Environment supporting TNS\'s business. The candidate will participate in all aspects of the TNS SDLC/STLC/Troubleshooting process with an emphasis on Software Test Automation, Test Tools, Benchmark/Performance Testing, Implementing DevOps methodologies for payments applications that maybe deployed on TNS\'s on-premises datacenters or on TNS\'s secure private cloud. This role will be responsible to develop and deliver functions for Payment applications platforms/services like NAC (network access controller), TNIP (TNS Network Interface Processor), TNS Pay Protect, Payments Message Conversion, and SIG (Secure Internet Gateway). This role shall be responsible for providing an end-to-end implementation of technology solutions to solve TNS customer\'s requests as well as serve business needs and priorities. This role will be expected to continually learn about new applications, features and tools which can be used for new solutions.

What You Will Do

• Maintain/Test applications written in C/C++, Java applications and Bash/PerlPython scripts.
• Implement or maintain Application Test Automation, Benchmark/Performance testing.
• Work in a Scrum like environment with developers
• Learn insights of existing Payment applications over TNS\'s Payment platforms

Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)

• A bachelor\'s degree in computer engineering/electronics Engineering/Information technology/MCA/any other similar degree.
• 6 to 10 years of Software Development, 2+ yrs involve TCP socket programming on Linux platform.
• Comfortable in both Linux and Windows Environments, hands-on exposure to AWS cloud.
• Linux, C/C++, Java, Perl/Python, shell scripting
• Proficient on both backend (api) test automation and front end (UI) test automation. Experience in developing the test framework.
• Knowledge of Security test tools, terminologies, and test experience.
• Solid understanding of communication protocols (TCP, SSL, TLS, HTTP/S,S/FTP etc) and hands-on experience using tcpdump, wireshark, stunnel, sclient
• Knowledge of test tools like - postman, jmeter.
• Scrum or Agile development with GIT source control and implement DevOps pipelines.
• Ability to mentor Junior Software Test Engineers
• English proficiency and communications confidence a must.

What Will Put You Ahead

• Familiarity or hands-on experience with test automation of payments applications.
• EMV Certification experience.
• Hands-on experience and independence in setting up full test environment and CI/CD pipelines in the AWS cloud.
• Payment industry knowledge and Exposure to PCI Data Security Standards, Specifications - ISO8583, AS2805.
• Automation testing on Web and mobile applications.
• Experience with doing security testing for an application including understanding of SAST, DAST, SCA, Vulnerability detection etc
• Familiarity with test instrumentation (measurement of roundtrip response time, latency, rate of transaction processing, timeouts, etc)
• Ingenico Terminals, Verifone Terminals configuration and testing experience.

Other Considerations: -

• Familiarity with payment concepts like Authorization/Settlement etc.
• Shift Timings - 7 AM to 4 PM.
