Job Purpose: SDET Engineer for validation and verification of existing Digital platform (Platform enabled various Digital Services e.g., remote monitoring. preventive maintenance for existing product lines) Key Tasks & Responsibilities 1. Identify the appropriate tools and test strategies, identify tasks for automation 2. Develop utilities for automation 3. Build out test infrastructure for functional and non-functional testing 4. Design and execute test cases, conduct manual testing where needed 5. Develop expertise and craft strategies to identify the root cause quickly 6. Collaborates with the team to achieve non functional metrics, critical issues Company Specific Tasks & Responsibilities 1. Demonstrated ability to develop automation frameworks to test embarrassingly scalable, low latency, reactive and distributed software systems before and after production/go live 2. Experience in functional/nonfunctional/security testing with a strong background on REST APIs and Microservices 3. Skills : Java, Microservices, functional and load testing tools e.g., Karate, jMeter 4. Good to have experience in NoSQL databases, Apache Kafka, Event processing frameworks Desirable English ( must) Qualifications (can be specific to role, or indication of level of education generally) Education \xe2\x80\x93 Engineering Graduate or equivalent, 5+ years experience Personal Profile (personality traits that would assist in success in the role) Self-driven, pro-active approach combined with follow-up mentality Good analytical skills
