About the Role:

We are looking for a skilled

QA Automation Test Engineer

with a strong background in both manual and automation testing. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in automating test cases using C#, testing web applications and APIs, and working within an Agile/SCRUM environment. This role requires collaboration with cross-functional teams to ensure high-quality software delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

Translate test cases into automation scripts using

C#

for

GUI

and

API

testing. Ensure adherence to defined coding standards and automation guidelines. Perform manual testing of

web-based applications

and

web services

in a client-server architecture. Debug web or server-related errors with a solid understanding of web-based systems. Independently execute

functional

,

database

,

sanity

,

E2E integration

, and

regression

testing. Conduct

root cause analysis

on automation failures and track defects effectively. Identify test cases for automation and contribute to automation planning. Setup test data and execute automated test cases. Collaborate with QA Managers/Leads and cross-functional teams to ensure test coverage. Review automation code, address issues from scheduled runs, and continuously improve test scripts. Follow the test strategy and test plans to maintain quality standards. Escalate blockers and SOP deviations promptly.
