Design, implement, and manage

high-performance, scalable, and reliable databases

(RDBMS and NoSQL systems such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, ScyllaDB, Cassandra, BigQuery).

Automate database deployments

using CI/CD pipelines and Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) tools (e.g., Terraform). Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data storage needs and

optimize schema, queries, and indexes

. Implement

monitoring and alerting

solutions to ensure database availability and performance (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana). Ensure

data security and compliance

by applying encryption, access controls, and auditing mechanisms. Participate in

capacity planning, disaster recovery strategy,

and backup solutions. Proactively analyze database slowdowns and

optimize query performance

and resource utilization. 6-9 years of hands-on experience in

Database /SQL developer/Engineering

roles. Proficiency in one or more of the following:

PostgreSQL, MySQL, ScyllaDB, Cassandra, BigQuery, MongoDB, MS-Sql

. Strong understanding of

data modeling, indexing strategies, replication, sharding,

and

consistency models

. Experience with

cloud platforms

(GCP, AWS, or Azure) and cloud-native database solutions. Knowledge of

SQL performance tuning

and query optimization tools. Experience working with

Kafka, Airflow, Dataflow, or other data pipeline orchestration tools

is a plus. Familiarity with

DevOps practices

, shell scripting, and version control (Git).
