DESCRIPTION Job summary
The Worldwide Advertiser Success Engineering (WASE) team in Amazon Advertising is looking for a motivated Software Development Engineer who can support our end-to-end data infrastructure. You will be developing a robust and scalable platform to support our data applications, services, and systems. This platform will ensure availability and timely delivery of data necessary for critical decision making process by our advertising account management leads and account specialists to execute on behalf of Amazon Advertisings advertiser population. You will design and develop software solutions to support several stakeholders.

Key job responsibilities

Primary role is a full stack software engineer designing and building user-friendly and intuitive applications, build big data systems that crunch TB scale of data to automat accounting processes.
Drive best practices and engineering excellence.
Development of code in Java, Scala using Spark, query languages (SQL), scripting languages (Python).
Analyze and solve problems at their root, stepping back to understand the broader context.
Continually improve ongoing reporting and analysis processes, automating or simplifying self-service support.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
2 years of non-internship professional software development experience
1 years of experience contributing to the architecture and design (architecture, design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and current systems.
Programming experience with at least one software programming language.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
4 years of non-internship professional software development experience
Programming experience with at least one modern language such as Java, C , or C# including object-oriented design
2 years of experience contributing to the architecture and design (architecture, design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and current systems.
