Position:

SDE I - Backend Developer (Contract-to-Hire)

Employment Type:

6-month contract (extendable based on performance)

The role involves ownership of the design and architecture of backend systems for high-scale SaaS or real-time internet applications. You'll work closely with product and business teams to convert feature requirements into technical specifications, ensuring scalable and efficient implementation of microservices and APIs.

Key Responsibilities:

End-to-end design and development of scalable backend systems Translate product requirements into high-level architecture and low-level design Develop robust REST/gRPC APIs and microservices using Java and Spring Boot Collaborate with cross-functional teams and contribute to CI/CD pipelines Optimize systems for performance, scalability, and maintainability Work on cloud-based infrastructure (AWS) Contribute to code reviews and system troubleshooting

Strong foundation in

Solid understanding of

space and time complexity

Experience with cloud-native development and

CI/CD tools

Familiarity with additional tech stack: Python, Apache, Solr, Memcache, Redis Hands-on experience in high-traffic applications or eCommerce platforms Independent contributor, capable of thriving in a fully remote role
