We are looking for a SDE 2 to join our rapidly expanding Engineering team.
Responsibilities:
Engage in
requirements discussions
with the product team to ensure clarity and feasibility.
Develop and maintain the
backend of the Zinier ecosystem
with a focus on high-quality, scalable code.
Investigate and resolve
product issues
in collaboration with stakeholders.
Optimize applications for
performance, speed, and scalability
.
Contribute to
training initiatives
to upskill team members across the company.
Maintain and update
technical documentation
to ensure knowledge sharing.
Mentor
junior engineers, fostering best practices and engineering principles.
Conduct
code reviews
to maintain high development standards.
Collaborate in an
Agile environment
, leveraging
JIRA
for sprint planning, backlog management, and issue tracking.
Skill Requirements:

Backend (Primary Focus)
Strong knowledge and experience in
Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) concepts
.
4-6 years of experience
Strong understanding of
Java, Spring Boot, and REST API development
.
Experience in
Test-Driven Development (TDD) with Spring Boot
.
Proficiency in
developing APIs
using
Redis
and
relational databases (MySQL preferred)
.
Strong understanding of the
AWS cloud platform
, with experience using services like
S3, Lambda
.
Good understanding of
code versioning tools (Git)
and
bug-tracking systems (JIRA, etc.)
.
Knowledge of
DocumentDB
or any other NoSQL document database is a plus.
