EY-Consulting-Blue Yonder/09 Demand and Supply Planning - Manager (9-14 years)
The opportunity
EY GDS is a global major in value-added Digital Supply Chain services for its clients. As part of this rapidly growing business segment, you will play a critical role in developing solutions, implementations, and performance improvement of Blue Yonder/09 Demand and Supply Planning module. This role will help the individual to work collaboratively with the end user community, implementation partners, cross-functional teams and other IT resources to identify system deficiencies and opportunities for business process enhancements. As a Manager in this area, you will

• Demonstrate in-depth technical and functional capabilities and professional knowledge across end-to-end supply chain planning processes, covering tactical and operational aspects of demand planning, supply planning, production planning, and procurement / inventory planning.
• Possess capabilities for optimising end-to-end supply chain planning processes to minimise future gaps, maximise inventory turns, maintain master data accuracy and integrity, and mitigate supply and demand risk.
• Co-ordinate with supply, demand, and production teams to define target stock level (TSL) requirements for raw and packaging materials (RPM), work in progress (WIP) and finished product (FP) inventories.
• Design and/or improve policies, procedures, and performance metrics (KPI's) related to supply, demand, production, and procurement planning.
• Provide solutions proficiency in BY or 09 Demand or Supply module to analyse and identifying gaps, to lead the solution design, and implement the BY/09 application modules to meet business requirements
• Lead implementation, configurations, testing, training, knowledge transfer and documentation activities
• Able to conduct workshops to understand end to end business process requirements and propose the best possible solution
• Deliver high quality client solutions that meet and exceed client/EY expectations and are delivered on-time and on-budget
• Manage client solution delivery, including defining project approach, motivating project teams, monitoring, managing project risks, managing client and EY key stakeholders and successfully delivering client solutions
• Identifying new business opportunities, including building strong client relations, understanding client needs and EY solution offerings, communicating client opportunities to EY leadership, and helping develop client opportunities

Skills and attributes for success

• Gather Business requirements/ lead design discussions with customer & business teams
• Work on Proposal and RFP's
• Analyse business requirements and Perform Fit-Gap Analysis
• Develop detailed solution design based on business requirements
• Strong expertise in detailed configuration and testing of Blue Yonder planning module ESP
• Assist customer/business teams during UAT phase
• Prepare and Review project documentations

To qualify for the role, you must have

• 9+ years of hands-on experience, as a consultant providing supply chain solutions for customers required
• At-least two implementation projects in JDA/BY Demand and ESP and/or o9 Demand and Supply Planning as a functional or techno functional consultant
• Good understanding of integration with other modules within planning
• Relevant consulting and implementation experience with other leading supply chain planning solutions such as Oracle, O9, Kinaxis, Logility, SAP, or leading ERP is an added advantage
• Very well versed in supply chain related knowledge, be able to understand common business problems, and translate business input to advise clients on appropriate solutions to meet their planning objectives
• Strong business analysis skills, understanding and usage of statistical algorithms, SCM concepts, awareness of tactical planning on overall supply chain required

Ideally, you'll also have

• Advanced degree in Supply Chain, Operations, Logistics or Operations Research preferred. A combination of Bachelor 's degree and relevant industry experience may be considered in lieu of advanced degree
• Strong business analysis skills, understanding and usage of statistical algorithms, SCM concepts, awareness of tactical planning on overall supply chain required
• Overall,9-14 years of experiences as SCM planner and responsibilities delivering projects in Supply Chain Management, Planning & Logistics domain
• Working experience with Onsite & Offshore delivery model environment is preferred
• Engaging with business partners and IT to understand requirements from various parts of an organization to drive the design, programming execution, and UAT for future state capabilities within the platform
• Working in a fast-paced and dynamic environment while managing multiple projects and strict deadlines
• Good understanding of outsourcing and off shoring, building win/win strategies and contracts with suppliers

• Relevant industry certification from APICS will be a plus
