Role : Scrum Master



We are seeking a highly organized, proactive, and delivery-focused

Scrum Master

to support and drive multiple concurrent digital initiatives. This hybrid role combines the structured planning and coordination responsibilities of a Project Manager with the Agile facilitation expertise of a Scrum Master.

This individual will work closely with the Delivery Director on multiple projects and collaborate with dynamic, globally distributed teams across the US, UK, India,

To ensure optimal overlap with US business hours and maintain smooth cross-regional coordination,

this role requires working during 1pm-10pm IST

Key Responsibilities:

Agile Facilitation & Scrum Master Duties

+ Lead Scrum ceremonies: Daily Standups, Sprint Planning, Backlog Refinement, Sprint Review, and Retrospectives
+ Maintain Agile discipline: ensure adherence to DoR, DoD, Sprint goals, capacity planning, story grooming, and sprint hygiene
+ Identify and remove impediments quickly to maintain delivery flow and team productivity
+ Coach teams on Agile values, principles, and best practices to foster continuous improvement
+ Maintain sprint metrics (velocity, burndown, commitment vs completion, team capacity).

Project Management & Delivery Ownership

+ Work closely with the Delivery Director to manage multiple workstreams across clients and projects.
+ Build and maintain project plans, report risks, and communication plans.
+ Track progress across sprints, milestones, cross-team dependencies, and delivery timelines.
+ Drive collaboration across UI/UX, Engineering, QA, DevOps, Architecture, Content, and Vendor partners.
+ Prepare weekly status reports, dashboards, and client-ready updates as required.
+ Track feature completion, overall schedule, and budget deviation.

Stakeholder Management & Communication

+ Ensure clear and timely communication across all time zones, escalating risks or delays early.
+ Collaborate closely with Product Owners, Business Analysts, Engineering Managers, QA Leads, and Vendor Partners.
+ Facilitate requirement clarifications, planning workshops, and cross-team alignment sessions.
+ Maintain transparency through consistent updates, artefact management, and progress tracking.

Delivery Governance & Compliance

+ Ensure adherence to organizational delivery standards and participate in the project management PMO audit.
+ Support QA and Engineering teams to ensure quality checkpoints and testing gates are followed.
+ Assist the Program Manager in preparing governance decks, reports, and planning documents.
+ Promote compliance with accessibility (WCAG), performance, security, and release guidelines, depending on project scope.

Qualifications & Skills

Must-Have

4-6 years of experience as a

Scrum Master,

Strong understanding of Agile (Scrum/Kanban), SDLC processes, and multi-stream delivery. Hands-on expertise with JIRA, Confluence, Agile dashboards, metrics, and reporting. Experience working with geographically distributed teams and handling cross-timezone communication. Excellent facilitation, communication, and client-facing skills.

Must have experience managing projects through the full end-to-end lifecycle

Ability to multitask, prioritize, and deliver in a fast-paced environment.

Nice-to-Have

Scrum certifications (CSM, PSM). Experience in

CMS

(headless)projects. Familiarity with multi-vendor project models. Knowledge of release management, UAT coordination, and environment readiness. Understanding of dependency management across multiple engineering teams.

Proactive, detail-oriented, and highly organized. Strong ownership mindset with the ability to work independently. Excellent interpersonal and conflict-resolution skills. Adaptability and comfort working with multi-timezone, multi-cultural teams. Strong communication and presentation skills for leadership and client audiences.

Work Hours & Environment

Must work US business hours to ensure strong overlap with US working hours. Collaboration with teams operating across the

US, UK, and India

time zones. Remote/Hybrid/Onsite (as applicable). Will collaborate daily with the Program Manager and delivery leadership.
