Description



Aveosoft Pvt Ltd is hiring an experienced Scrum Master to help teams execute better--not just run ceremonies. This role focuses on delivery discipline, team clarity, and removing friction so teams can consistently ship quality software.

This is not a Project Manager role. We're looking for someone who truly understands Scrum, can coach teams effectively, and isn't afraid to challenge processes when agility becomes ceremonial.



Responsibilities

Facilitate all Scrum ceremonies including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives

Ensure Scrum principles and Agile practices are followed in execution--not just documented

Identify, remove, and escalate blockers and risks early to ensure smooth delivery.

Coach development teams on Agile best practices, continuous improvement, and self-organization.

Work closely with Product Owners to maintain a healthy, well-prioritized product backlog.

Track and analyze sprint metrics such as velocity, burndown, and delivery predictability, and drive improvements based on data.

Protect teams from scope creep, unplanned work, and unnecessary interruptions.

Foster transparency, accountability, and a culture of ownership within teams.

Qualifications

Minimum 2-8 years of hands-on experience working as a Scrum Master with software development teams.

Strong understanding of Scrum framework and Agile principles.

Experience working with cross-functional teams including development, QA, and product.

Ability to push back constructively when Agile processes are ignored or misused.

Excellent communication skills, especially during challenging situations.

Scrum certification (CSM / PSM) is a plus, but not mandatory.

Mindset focused on delivery, outcomes, and continuous improvement--not micromanagement.
