Scrum Master - Data Engineering

About the Role
Incedo is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Scrum Master to join our Data Engineering team, focusing on Wealth Management projects. In this role, you will be responsible for facilitating Scrum ceremonies, removing impediments, and ensuring the team adheres to Agile principles. You will work closely with data engineers, product owners, and other stakeholders to deliver high-quality data solutions. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of Scrum methodology, fundamental SQL expertise, a background in data engineering, and experience in the Wealth Management domain. This is an excellent opportunity to contribute to a dynamic team and make a significant impact on our data-driven initiatives. This role requires working in an ODC environment with mobile access allowed, and the shift timing is from 1 PM to 10 PM. We are looking for an immediate joiner to fill this position.
Key Responsibilities

• Facilitate daily stand-up meetings, sprint planning, sprint reviews, and sprint retrospectives.
• Remove impediments and roadblocks that hinder the team's progress.
• Ensure the team adheres to Scrum principles and practices.
• Coach the team on self-organization and cross-functionality.
• Work closely with the Product Owner to manage the product backlog.
• Track and report on team progress and performance.
• Promote collaboration and communication within the team and with stakeholders.
• Identify and address team conflicts and issues.
• Continuously improve the team's processes and practices.
• Ensure proper documentation of data engineering processes.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 6-8 years of experience in a Scrum Master role.
• Strong knowledge of Scrum methodology and Agile principles.
• Fundamental SQL expertise (Must have).
• Data Engineering background (Data processing, documentation).
• Experience working on at least 2 Data Engineering projects.
• Wealth Management domain experience is mandatory.
• Good to have: Python programming skills.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and facilitation skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• Experience with Agile project management tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence).
• Must be an immediate joiner.

Additional Information
This position is based in Chennai and requires working in an ODC environment. The shift timing is from 1 PM to 10 PM. Only candidates with Data Engineering experience, strong SQL knowledge, and Wealth Management domain expertise will be considered.
