The Position

As a Scrum Master, you are to be part of the agile team and facilitate the team for efficient delivery, coaching and leadership. You should keep track of and help solve impediments and escalate if necessary. You will be entrusted with the below responsibilities:

  • Should drive PI(Program Increment) planning and other team cadence in an ART(agile release train) set up.
  • Help the Agile team manage their progress via transparent backlog and board overviews.
  • Help the Agile team and other roles prepare and align expectations before and during events.
  • Drive Agile teams, vendors, and customers in the Novo Nordisk Agile way of working incl. Agile Delivery Model, Azure DevOps, Agile QMS and Agile Sourcing.
  • Change ambassador to drive the learning culture and Agile mindset in Novo Nordisk.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor\'s or master\'s degree in engineering, computer science (or equivalent) with 10+ years in IT.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience as Scrum Master with certification.
  • Understand the Agile mindset and culture.
  • Must have worked in a global organization set up collaborating with US/European stakeholders on a regular basis.
  • Experience on Agile tools e.g., Scrum, Kanban, SAFe, XP and AzureDevOps.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Certification in SAFe agile is highly preferred.
  • Experience in Project Management or Lean-Agile methodologies is preferred.
About the department

The position is based in Digital Workplace product area department, part of Global IT Operations (GITO) - an area with 400+ employees distributed across more than 25 countries, managing our Infrastructure, Operations, Global Service Desk, and Digital Workplace Services. The GITO Digital Workplace APAC department is a self-propelled unit based out of Bangalore, India working in an agile setup with global product teams for various digitalisation, communication, collaboration, and automation IT platforms. The growing team constitutes of experienced Digital Collaborations and platform Service Managers, IT Architects, Technical and Business Analysts who work together with our Danish and US team to cater to Digital workplace requirements for Novo Nordisk employees. As an area we are responsible for Microsoft 365 Platforms, Power Platform, Novo Nordisk Meeting experience and collaboration technologies, Computing and Mobile platforms and devices. Together we focus on how to build a great digital workplace while ensuring stable and secure operations.
