The Role Responsibilities Day to day responsibilities within the squad Ensure overall delivery of projects within defined scope, quality, time, and cost requirements by adhering to Bank's Project Management Standards and Governance Policy Define and execute end to end Delivery Strategy by working with technology teams including, Product Owner and Chief Scrum Master Work with business stakeholders to ensure business requirements/User Stories are adequately defined and aligned to project/Client Journey objectives/ goals. Identify optimization opportunities for project execution, testing and verification. Work with multiple Business, Regional and Technology QPR team for initiatives prioritization, Request management tracking via Share point, JIRA, Clarity Organize sprint planning sessions & sprint reviews within teams to ensure a common understanding of sprint goals and review feedback Improved wider usage of collaboration tools like Jira, Mural, Trello boards and confluence for the appropriate scenarios Managing the end to end initiative plans, coordinating activities across all resources necessary to deliver the ESG Apps/ ESG initiatives including change management activities within budget and time constraints. Setup of the Monthly Business Review (MBR) and Preparing quality MBR materials (ToR, Packs, Minutes etc.), including coordinating and support Quarterly Performance Review (QPR). Ensuring that all submissions to committees (Closure Reports) are of the right quality and are on a timely basis Project Progress Reporting - Provide periodic updates to Refinement forums (SRF, RF) and report project progress, early notification of RAIDs and milestone progress status Planning and Estimation - Planning & estimation and provide resource forecast, cost forecast for budgeting activities, this includes BAU Changes, changes due to externa system CRs etc., Governance responsibilities Represent Scrum team in various governance forums Sprint entry/exit forums etc Provide scrum team status updates to governance reporting forums Ensure scrum team deliveries are aligned with overall project objectives and schedule Raise project level risk and issues in the RAID register and follow up to closure Stakeholder responsibilities Identify key stakeholders such as Product owners, Chief Scrum Master, Cluster Scrum Master, Delivery leads, Business team, Project/Program Accountable Executives and ensure the right level of information shared through proper information radiators. Engage external stakeholders like procurement, vendors, infrastructure team upfront and track their engagement as per the engagement plan. Work with Country Technology Management / SG CIO team to review system/ implementation changes and ensures change delivery impact is ascertained and identified. To also engage business stakeholders and technology teams to ensure minimal client and regulatory impact for project implementations. Hygiene Conduct weekly Management meetings/weekly Scrum calls and provide updates to overall programme PSC/PgSC members Manage project risk, issues, and changes as per established project management standards and change control processes. Assist Program Manager in managing overall Program Financials - Forecast, Schedule, Scope, Risk, Issues and periodic reporting. User JIRA Boards effectively with quick filters and Jira issues filters Ensure the team follow RAT, SIA and any other release compliance activities mandated by the bank. Strategy Strategize the Environment Provisioning, Cloud adoption and ways to reduce the TPS cost/optimize Infra footprint Stakeholder Management Manage stakeholder expectations and influence stakeholders in understanding risk and impacts, importance and priorities on demand identification, assessment, response and reporting Maintain a good relationship with Technology services team, Architecture teams, Vendor management teams, Risk Management teams, COO stakeholders and Internal CC T&I teams. Be a problem solver while actively manage the relation with our stakeholders Change Management Coordinate implementation and adoption of agreed initiatives across the function including communication and awareness with the ESG Business Counterpart (PO/ Biz Owner) Work with change managers and integrate their activities across the squad. Work with change managers and squad to take up some of these activities as T-shaped skills within the squad reducing the gap between change teams and T&I People and Talent Strong stakeholder management skills in handling wide ranging and senior stakeholders across segments/product areas Ability to work with cross functional teams across business and technology Ability to oversee execution of multiple initiatives, projects and product increments delivery As a SM, bring about recognition within the team. Set the team for team awards / individual recognition by duly advertising the contribution for wider recognition Elevate the teams to Performing stage (from forming and norming). Identify training areas and work with chapter leads to get the squad trained in the relevant areas Be conscious and look to address Diversity and inclusion agenda in all activities undertaken Risk Management Effectively and collaboratively identify, escalate, mitigate and resolve risk, conduct and compliance matters. Governance Be the &lsquoGate-Keeper' of the CEE agile management process, ensures the governance of the process is followed by internal and external stakeholders Regulatory & Business Conduct Display exemplary conduct and live by the Group&rsquos Values and Code of Conduct. Key Stakeholders CEE Stakeholders Other Responsibilities Client Lifecycle Management Experience is critical which includes having worked in a Multinational Bank&rsquos CC/KYC Team implementing releases of Global Nature. Additionally, having handled Country/Regulatory requirements for a Global Bank- Weightage - 50% SCRUM Experience - 50% Release Management - Define yearly release calendars which includes engaging and aligning various teams (like, PSS, Operations, Business Stakeholders, Test Management etc.,) Security Impact Assessments - Perform impact assessment and obtain the mandatory approvals for each release (this includes RAT, SIA process sign offs) Capacity Planning & infra - Conduct capacity planning exercises with DevOps teams and estimate application load in production and plan adequate infra upgrades Financial Management- Work closely with PMOs and provide monthly forecast for both Manday Vs non-man-day, ensure variances with-in limits. Our Ideal Candidate Knowledge of ESG, Climate Risk, AML, CDD Policy areas CCIB exp is desirable 10+ years of Project Management, Tech Delivery, Financial management PMP, CSM - Certification is Desirable Information Security related course completion or certification (i.e. optional) Handled large scale Transformation projects within a Bank Adopting new ways of working across all Client Coverage T&I Squads Support in transitioning t he traditional model of 'react and respond' towardsby planning right in the inception stage of the project Support in developing our talent, driving diversity & inclusion and improving our engineering practices to promote a strong engineering culture Enabling T&I as a trusted advisor to drive better client experience and Drive T&I foundation requirements , with a focus on cloud adoption, cyber security, data analytics and obsolescence. Skills - Primary: Scrum Master Certified, optional PMP Certified with 2 years agile delivery experience At least 10+ years of full-cycle, end to end large scale Programs delivered preferred. Effective interpersonal, communication skills to articulate at different levels of organisation hierarchy Strong relationship management experience with influencing and negotiation skills Creative mind - be able to suggest ideas and drive innovation Able to understand the big picture and the details Able to prioritise tasks based on urgency and importance Able to oversee 4-5 initiatives at time, minimally Skills - Secondary: Good communication skills - oral and written Strong analytical, numerical and problem-solving skills Strong financial management and commercial acumen Experience in Years: 15+ years' experience in agile/ scrum master/ project management experience About Standard Chartered We're an international bank, nimble enough to act, big enough for impact.
