The Position

  • As a Scrum Master, you are to be part of the Agile team and facilitate the team for efficient delivery, coaching and leadership. You will ensure learning and continuous improvement in the Agile team as well as secure training execution in alignment with People Leader. You will be entrusted with the below responsibilities:
  • You will provide overall leadership for the Agile team within the deliveries, coach Agile team members incl. Product Owner, coach stakeholders to adopt Agile ways of working.
  • You will work with the Agile team and other stakeholders to help solve impediments. Alongside, you will facilitate cross-team collaboration and dependencies and apply organisational understanding and power to solve impediments quickly.
  • You will help the Agile team manage their progress via transparent backlog and board overviews. Help the Agile team and other roles prepare and align expectations before and during events.
  • You will drive Agile Teams, vendors and customers in the Novo Nordisk Agile way of working incl. Agile Delivery Model, Azure DevOps, Agile QMS and Agile Sourcing.
  • Change ambassador to drive the learning culture and Agile mindset in Novo Nordisk. Budgeting and vendor management will also be a part of this role.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's or master's degree in engineering, computer science (or equivalent) with 7+ years in IT with a minimum of 3-4 years of experience as Scrum Master.
  • ITIL Basic knowledge is an added advantage.
  • Certified Scrum Master/SAFe DevOps.
  • Experience on Agile tools e.g., Scrum, Kanban, SAFe, XP and DevOps.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
About the department

Global IT India was established in February 2010 as an integral part of Global IT in HQ. From the beginning in 2010, the unit has grown to 900+ employees till date. The main role of Global IT India is to 'manage' IT, which includes System Management, Project Management, Infrastructure Management, Compliance Management, Security Management, Process Management and Vendor Management.

The position will be in the department Corporate Infrastructure and Cloud APAC, which is responsible for the corporate infrastructure and cloud services in Novo Nordisk.
