The Scrum Master will be a part of an international team that designs, develops and delivers new applications for Koch Industries. Koch Industries is a privately held global organization with over 120,000 employees around the world, with subsidiaries involved in manufacturing, trading, and investments. Koch Technology Center (KTC) is being developed in India to extend its IT operations, as well as act as a hub for innovation in the IT function.

The role will be responsible for guiding the Network Infrastructure IT group into a hybrid Agile project methodology approach using our Service Now Agile module. Commonly there are touchpoints with other teams as well who may or may not be using an Agile approach. The role will start with transitioning the team from current state to Agile and then work with the team to stabilize the methodology.

• Lead the scrum team in using Agile methodology and scrum practices
• Coordinate sprints, retrospective meetings and daily stand-ups
• Coach team members in Agile Frameworks
• Helping the product owner and development team to achieve customer satisfaction
• Work with product owners to handle backlogs and new requests
• Act as a buffer between automation team and customers, product owners, and other team to maintain team's ability to focus and accomplish work
• Remove obstacles, resolve conflicts, and issues that occur
• Ensure deliverables are up to quality standards at the end of each sprint
• Help the scrum team achieve higher levels of scrum maturity
• Support the product owner and provide education where needed

What You Will Need To Bring With You:

(experience & education required)

• Excellent knowledge of Scrum techniques and artifacts (such as definition of done, user stories, automated testing, backlog refinement).
• Demonstrated experience using Agile Project Management tools
• 8+ years' experience in implementing software or web development projects in large, complex projects with multi-functional teams.
• 5+ years successfully using SCRUM/Agile implementing software or web development across multiple application systems using multi-functional teams.
• Certified ScrumMaster / PMI-ACP
• Experience overseeing multi-functional project teams with at least 10-12 team members include developers, functional analysts, Business Analysts and external resources where resources are not co-located and may work different shifts.
• Balanced business/technical background required to provide credible leadership to both technical and business team members as as as ensure business strategies and value are met.
• Experience leading teams remotely

• Will work with teams across multiple time-zones where technical & business leads are primarily in US time zones.
