Position Overview
We are looking for a
Script Writer
with strong command over Hindi and a flair for impactful storytelling. A background in
journalism
will be considered a major advantage, as the role demands research-driven, informative, and engaging writing tailored for
government projects, campaigns, and documentaries
.
Key Responsibilities:
Research, conceptualize, and write scripts for government films, ad campaigns, and documentaries.
Translate complex policy, developmental, or social messages into simple, relatable, and engaging narratives.
Work closely with the creative and production teams to develop compelling storylines.
Ensure scripts are factually accurate, clear, and aligned with project objectives.
Adapt writing style for different formats - short films, documentaries, promotional videos, and digital campaigns.
Assist in on-ground research and interviews (if required) to enrich scripts.
Requirements
Proven experience as a
script writer / journalist / content writer
, preferably in media, journalism, or government projects.
Strong writing and editing skills in
Hindi
(fluency is a must).
Ability to conduct in-depth research and present information creatively.
Understanding of socio-political and cultural contexts in India.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Ability to work under deadlines while maintaining quality.
Good to Have:
Previous work in documentary scripting, current affairs, or public service campaigns.
Awareness of government initiatives, policies, and development programs.
Knowledge of English for research/reference purposes.
