About the Role

At Tutrain, we are looking for a

creative Scriptwriter

who can write engaging, clear, and visually appealing scripts for both

academic videos

and

social media content

. This role requires someone who can simplify educational concepts for students while also creating catchy and impactful scripts for short-form and long-form social media videos.

Key Responsibilities

Write

student-friendly academic video scripts

that simplify complex topics and align with learning outcomes. Create

creative, engaging, and trend-aware scripts

for social media platforms (Instagram, YouTube, LinkedIn, etc.). Collaborate with subject experts, designers, and video editors to ensure scripts translate effectively into

visual storytelling

. Conduct research to ensure accuracy, relevance, and originality of content. Adjust tone, style, and structure of scripts based on audience and platform. Provide clear directions for visuals, cues, and storytelling flow within the script. Revise and refine scripts based on team feedback.

Requirements

Proven experience in

scriptwriting

for educational/academic videos and/or social media content. Strong

storytelling and visualization skills

to turn ideas into compelling scripts. Ability to explain complex ideas in

simple and engaging language

. Familiarity with different video formats (explainer videos, reels, shorts, long-form learning videos). Excellent command of written English and Hindi (preferred). Strong communication and collaboration skills. Portfolio or writing samples are required.

Preferred Skills

Background in

education, creative writing, media, or journalism

. Knowledge of

social media trends and audience engagement techniques

. Ability to add creativity, hooks, and storytelling elements to academic content.
