Founder Profile



Arnav Kumar is a graduate of IIT Kharagpur. Leap is his second company and he has raised more than $30M in capital for his startups. In his last role, he was a VC investor with SAIF Partners (Now Elevation Capital), which is an early investor in paytm, meesho, urban company, unacademy and many other unicorns. Vaibhav Singh is a graduate of IIT Kharagpur. He spent his first 6 years at DeutscheBank, across Singapore & Sydney to manage a $3Bn flow book. He has built 2 fintech startups before, as a founding member of CapitalFloat and Incred, both pioneering businesses valued >$500Mn The Leap team has a fine balance of industry experience (edtech, fintech, study abroad) and technical skills (engineering, product, design)



About the role



We're looking for a Script Writer who can craft high-impact scripts that drive growth across YouTube, Instagram, and podcasts. The ideal candidate not only excels at storytelling but also understands what makes content scale--whether it's hitting 10K, 50K, or 100K+ audiences. If you thrive at the intersection of creativity, growth, and strategy, this role is for you.

What You'll Do :

Script Writing:

Develop engaging, platform-specific scripts for YouTube videos, Instagram reels, and podcasts

Content Strategy:

Partner with the growth and content teams to shape narratives that attract and retain audiences

Adaptation & Repurposing:

Transform long-form content into short-form, cross-platform formats while preserving impact

Podcast Scripting:

Write episode outlines, interview questions, and support hosts with structured storytelling

Growth Optimization:

Leverage analytics, trends, and platform algorithms to refine scripts for maximum reach and engagement

Collaboration:

Work with editors, designers, and producers to ensure content aligns with brand voice and growth goals

.What We're Looking For :

Proven track record of writing scripts that scaled content on YouTube/Instagram (portfolio or samples required)

Strong storytelling skills with the ability to simplify complex ideas

Exposure to podcast scripting/production is highly desirable

Understanding of audience growth levers--algorithms, retention strategies, and content hooks

Ability to balance creative storytelling with data-driven insights

Excellent collaboration skills with both creative and growth-focused teams
