Role Overview

The Screen Printing Operator will be responsible for operating screen printing machines, preparing screens, mixing inks, and ensuring high-quality print output as per client requirements. The role requires attention to detail, technical skills, and an understanding of printing materials and processes.

Key Responsibilities1. Machine Operation

Operate manual or automatic screen printing machines. Set up printing equipment and adjust settings for different jobs. Monitor machine performance and ensure smooth production flow.

2. Screen & Artwork Preparation

Prepare screens, apply emulsions, and expose artwork accurately. Inspect screens for pinholes, alignment, and clarity. Maintain proper screen tension and quality.

3. Ink Mixing & Colour Matching

Mix inks as per shade requirements. Perform basic color matching and make necessary adjustments. Ensure correct viscosity and ink type for the material.

4. Printing & Quality Control

Print designs on fabric, paper, plastic, or other substrates. Conduct quality checks for alignment, color accuracy, and print clarity. Ensure zero errors, smudges, or printing defects.

5. Maintenance & Housekeeping

Clean machines, screens, squeegees, and tools after each job. Perform basic machine maintenance and report technical issues. Maintain organized workspace, materials, and equipment.

6. Production Coordination

Coordinate with design, production, and QC teams. Manage job orders and meet daily production targets. Keep accurate records of materials used and production output.

Skills Required

Knowledge of screen printing techniques Ability to operate printing machines (manual/automatic) Ink mixing and basic color matching skills Understanding of fabrics, substrates, and printing materials Attention to detail and quality orientation Ability to work under deadlines

Qualifications

12th Pass / ITI / Diploma in Printing Technology (preferred) 1-5 years of hands-on experience in screen printing

Pay: ₹40,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
