The successful candidate will oversee all aspects of our scrap yard operations, ensuring optimal productivity.Manage day-to-day operations of the scrap yard, including scheduling, resource allocation, and workflow optimization

• Supervise and lead a team of yard workers, equipment operators, and administrative staff
• Oversee inventory management, including receiving, sorting, and processing of scrap materials
• Develop and implement strategies to improve operational efficiency and profitability
• Manage equipment maintenance and procurement to minimize downtime
• Prepare and manage budgets, financial reports, and performance metrics
• Implement and maintain quality control measures throughout the yard

• 5+ years of experience in scrap yard operations or a related industry
• Proven leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate a diverse team
• Strong knowledge of scrap metal industry, recycling processes, and environmental regulations
• Proficiency in inventory management systems and financial management
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to make quick, informed decisions
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
• Experience with heavy equipment operation and maintenance
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Operations Management, or related field preferred
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, outdoor environment with exposure to various weather conditions
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and willingness to learn industry-specific software
