1. Check and verify scrap material quantity and quality.
2. Ensure proper segregation of different types of scrap.
3. Maintain daily scrap records (incoming, outgoing, and stock).
4. Coordinate with the dispatch and accounts teams for scrap sales documentation.
5. Monitor loading/unloading of scrap to prevent pilferage or mismatch.
6. Ensure safety and cleanliness in the scrap yard area.
