Citi is looking for a Hands-On Senior Full Stack Data engineer and Architect to join our team, and architect high performance Analytical Dashboard & Performance Metrics used by senior stakeholders across our Banking and International (B&I) franchise.


This role will work within one or more teams across B&I Data and the subject matter experts from Risk/Finance/ Technology to design, validate, develop, and deploy both minimum viable products (MVP) as well as ready to deploy solutions.

Responsibilities:

Design, build and enhance high-performance, data-intensive solution from all the way to data acquisition, rendering, visualization, and distribution. Building and enhancing existing data quality process to ensure accuracy, timeliness and completeness of various dashboard and reports. Determines appropriateness, and guides revisions/refinement of presentation content and materials for Governance forums. Coordinate work within team or project group - escalate where required in a timely basis. Liaises with multiple Data teams/departments and serve as subject matter for planning and analysis of project deliverables and processes. Prework on the governance agenda required and appropriately highlight the relevant dependencies and Risk. Work with the team to get the information up to date before senior management review. Build and consume RESTful APIs/GRAPHQL services Develop modern web interfaces using JS frameworks (React/Angular) Write clean, maintainable and well tested code Implement and maintain CI/CD Pipelines, and centralized deployments (Docker/K8s)

Qualifications:

10+ years of experience, Banking or Finance industry preferred. Great understanding business analysis, project management and solution design. Communicates effectively, develops, and delivers multi-mode communications that convey a clear understanding of the unique needs of different audiences; able to drive consensus, and influence relationships at all levels. Must have broad understanding of the business technology landscape, the ability to design reports, and strong analytical skills.

Excellent understanding of SQL, Python, Tableau.

Know how to read/write to database systems, such as SQL, NoSQL (Graph, KV, Columnar), Object Storage, with ability to work with various data formats.

To be familiar with the ETL processes and Task/Job Schedulers and ability to troubleshoot technical issues on your own.

Experience in building RESTful service and integrating them in UI

Exposure to services orchestration

Must have good foundation and implementing Data Science key concepts with opensource libraries. Adaptable, creative, resourceful, well organized team player with a strong work ethics.

Education:

Bachelor's/University degree, master's degree preferred.
