Job Summary:
Homegenie Building Products Pvt Ltd is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented SCM Executive to manage and streamline end-to-end supply chain operations. The ideal candidate will have experience in procurement, vendor coordination, logistics, inventory control, and reverse logistics--preferably in the building material manufacturing industry.
Key Responsibilities
Vendor Management:
Maintain and evaluate vendor relationships.
Monitor supplier performance and resolve supply issues.
Ensure quality and delivery commitments are met consistently.
Inventory & Material Management:
Monitor stock levels, initiate reorders, and reduce excess inventory.
Coordinate with stores to ensure timely material availability.
Conduct physical stock audits and address discrepancies.
Logistics & Dispatch Coordination:
Plan and manage inbound and outbound logistics.
Ensure timely material movement from suppliers to plant and finished goods to customers.
Arrange transportation and manage freight documentation.
Return Loads & Reverse Logistics Handling:
Coordinate the efficient use of
return loads
to minimize transportation costs.
Oversee
reverse logistics
processes for the return of rejected or excess materials and packaging.
Ensure proper documentation and system updates for all reverse movements.
Liaise with warehouse, quality, and finance teams for returns and credit notes.
Monitor and analyze reverse logistics data to improve efficiency and reduce waste.
Planning & Documentation:
Support production planning by ensuring availability of critical materials.
Maintain documentation for procurement, GRNs, invoices, dispatch, and returns.
Ensure adherence to compliance standards and company policies.
Reporting:
Prepare regular reports on inventory status, procurement activities, logistics performance, and return load efficiency.
Suggest process improvements and cost-saving initiatives.
Key Skills Required:
Solid understanding of supply chain processes in manufacturing.
Experience with reverse logistics and return load optimization.
Familiarity with ERP software (e.g., SAP, Tally, Oracle).
Strong negotiation, coordination, and analytical skills.
Excellent communication and documentation abilities.
Knowledge of statutory and regulatory documentation.
