& Key Responsibilities:
1. Field Exploration & Sourcing
Identify and explore potential areas for biomass (agri-residue) collection.
Contact and meet suppliers; train them in economical transport methods for low-density fuels.
Motivate rural entrepreneurs to develop agri-waste supply infrastructure (e.g., specialized tractors, trolleys).
Visit nearby rice mills for husk lifting and negotiate procurement terms.
2. Supply Chain Management
Manage end-to-end biomass movement from farms to pellet factories or storage banks.
Engage transportation teams (tractor-trolley, trucks) for timely lifting.
Record transactions digitally using apps or Google Sheets.
3. Quality & Documentation
Maintain GRN (Goods Receipt Note), quality records, and payment tracking.
Coordinate with head office/accounts for timely vendor payments.
Liaise with local stakeholders for optimum use of infrastructure.
4. Vendor Development
Identify, onboard, and train new biomass suppliers.
Assist vendors in obtaining bank finance for supply chain infrastructure (e.g., special trolleys, balers, hay rakes).
Promote company's vision and mission to ensure long-term vendor engagement.
5. Reporting & Administration
Submit daily MIS reports to the accounts team.
Monitor and control field expenses.
Skills & Attributes:
Strong knowledge of agricultural practices and rural markets.
Willingness to travel in rural areas and discover untapped biomass potential.
Ability to negotiate and build strong relationships with farmers, traders, and transporters.
Good communication skills and basic computer literacy.
Commitment to contributing to Aatmanirbhar Bharatby making agriculture a key driver of clean energy.
