We are seeking a highly motivated Scientist in Bio AI to join our cutting-edge research and innovation team at the intersection of biology, artificial intelligence, and data-driven discovery. The ideal candidate will apply AI/ML methods to accelerate insights in genomics, systems biology, synthetic biology, and biomanufacturing. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
The responsibilities of the scientist would include, but are not limited to, the following
1. Conduct high-impact translational research using classic computational tools, AI, and quantum tools to design novel molecules and pathways for health, food, and environmental applications.
Integrate multi-omics data to model virtual pathways and cells.
Build AI/ML models for genomics, proteomics, metabolomics, imaging, and multi-omics integration.
Develop predictive and generative models for protein design, pathway optimization, drug discovery, and biomanufacturing.
Collaborate with experimental teams to validate AI-driven predictions in the lab.
Create knowledge graphs and data pipelines to structure biological insights.
Drive innovation through high-impact publications and intellectual property (patents, algorithms, pipelines).
2. Publish research findings in good journals and present at international conferences.
3. Participate in grant writing and fundraising activities.
4. Foster collaborations with global academic institutions and industry leaders.
5. Contribute to the academic mission by designing courses, teaching and mentoring students in bio-AI, computational biology, and data-driven biodesign.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERTISE
PhD or equivalent in Computational Biology, Bioinformatics, Computer Science, AI/ML, Systems Biology, or related fields.
Strong expertise in machine learning, deep learning, or generative AI, with applications in biology or chemistry.
