Eurofins DiscoverX is seeking a detail-oriented Scientific Writer to conceptualize and author high-quality technical documentation for its product portfolio. The writer will be responsible for developing key scientific assets--including White Papers, Application Notes, and eBooks--to support the company's diverse product lines. This role requires close collaboration with cross-functional teams to refine and finalize these technical materials.
Key Responsibilities

• Product Documentation: Create and revise User Manuals for all products.
• Content Revision: Update existing manuals to align with current templates, stakeholder feedback, and updated product specifications.
• Technical Marketing Collateral: Write and edit high-level scientific content, including White Papers, Application Notes, and eBooks.
• Customer Support Assets: Develop FAQs, Quick Guides, Datasheets, and website landing page content to improve the user experience.
• Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with internal scientific teams to incorporate edits and ensure technical accuracy in all customer-facing materials.

Qualifications
Required Skills & Qualifications

• Educational Background: Bachelor's or Master's in biotechnology, Molecular Biology, Biochemistry, or a related Life Sciences field.
• Technical Writing Experience: 2-5 years of experience in technical writing within the biotech or pharma industry.
• Scientific Literacy: Ability to understand and document complex laboratory procedures, specifically involving cell-based assays and protein engineering.
• Software Proficiency: Expert knowledge of MS Office Suite and experience with documentation version control. Proficiency in visual tools such as Bio Render or Adobe Illustrator is required
• Communication: Exceptional command of the English language with the ability to simplify technical jargon for diverse global audiences.
• Ability to meet tight timelines and maintain flexible work hours for global team coordination.

Preferred Experience

• Prior experience writing for a global pharma or life sciences product company.
• Familiarity with creating SEO-friendly content for blog posts and landing pages.
• Experience working with cross-functional teams across different time zones (US/Europe).
