II. JOB PURPOSE
To Perform Technical work in Blood Bank
III. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Core Responsibilities
Patient/Customer Care

• To effectively interface with patients, attendants, nursing staff, Technician and service users.

Job Knowledge

• To demonstrate effective application of technical & professional Knowledge.

Process Orientation/ Documentation

• To determine blood group of patient and blood donor and ensure accurate & timely reporting.
• To perform compatibility testing.
• To perform Phlebotomy.
• To screen blood for infectious diseases
• To maintain relevant records

People Orientation

• To manage people effectively.

Cost & Revenue

• To ensure safe utilization of equipment and proper waste disposal system

Discipline

• To be well groomed, punctual & adhere to company policies and practices

IV. KEY PERFORMANCE INDICATORS
Measurable Deliverables

• Zero error in blood typing and compatibility testing.
• Minimum errors in documentation.
• Zero error in issue of blood
• Issue of blood components within defined turnaround time

Minimum Qualifications

• DMLT

Experience

• 1+ years experience in reputed hospital in Blood Bank
